read moreI did my 10 week induction for british gas with skills training group. Absolutely brilliant place, brilliant members of staff, good facilities and lots of experienced tutors. If your looking to do your mlp gas training, I highly recommend.

read moreI recently completed my gas managed learning programme with Skills Training Group and cant recommend the course highly enough. I visited 2 other training centres before signing up and after comparing them all it was an easy choice to go with Skills the main difference being the amount of appliances and quality of the workshops as well as them being around for 10 years and having the most positive reviews.

I attended the Paisley Centre and they had 4 different gas workshops with a mixture of both old and new appliance which gave me confidence working on a variety of boilers and fires. I had Craig and Lee for my training and was in a class of 15 but when we did the practical the class was split into two groups which meant we got lots of 1 to 1 training.

My work placement was arranged by Derek in the office and was out with Gas Sure. I was really lucky as my placement engineer was actually an ex-student from Skills so he knew exactly what I was trying to achieve.

The final assessment was stressful but being honest Id put that much into my studying I got through it without too much difficulty.
Since completing the course Ive been taken on by British Gas who are putting me through a 10 week induction programme (also at Skills), cant wait to get started!!!

read moreRecently I completed the 2 day Wiring and fault finding course and I gained a good understanding from personal advice and guidance given by Lee the lecturer. He made the experience enjoyable and shared as much of his knowledge as possible and was very kind to keep in contact with us to solve any future problems. Highly recommend.

Same high standards of professional people and very helpful.I found the trainer Keir Ingls very helpful and encouraging when needed. Cov - 19 safety systems very good felt well protected good PPW kit available if needed.
