Panik Gallery
Museum & Art Gallery in Glasgow, Scotland
Panik Gallery opened in Killearn in the summer of 2004 as a venue for contemporary Scottish art and design. Run by design duo, Paul Brown and Annika Simpson who have been operating a printed textile design studio, Panik Designs, in the village since 2003. Panik Gallery holds bimonthly group exhibitions which have included painting, printmaking, photography, textiles, ceramics, jewellery and glass. Paul and Annika like showing the work of emerging as well as founded artists and designers. Having recently graduated from Glasgow School of Art ourselves, we know how difficult it can be to get your work seen, so we'd like to supply a space where talented new graduates can exhibit their work next to those who have already built up solid reputation and founded themselves as artists and designers. Says Paul.
